Welcome to the blog

Jam custard and chocolate sticks! It’s nice to have this blog up ready to get on with tippy typing some words out for all of you badge lovers! I am Sunny and I will be your initial tour guide into the world of LoveBadges.co.uk as we get up to speed over the coming days!

First up, a little background…
We are based down on the south coast of the UK, near Brighton in a town called Shoreham-by-Sea. We live 2 mins walk  (or a 30 second brisk jog)  from the sea where we use the fresh air to help whirr the cogs of our minds in order to create great badge designs for folks all around the world.

We have made badges for celebrities and their fans (such as Mika, The Hoosiers, Noah and the Whale to name a few), we have created large runs of badges for charities and promotional folk, and indeed crafted thousands and thousands for peeps just like you that simply love badges, wish to give them as gifts, or use them as bribes to get smaller people to do things like clean their room.

Where are we heading?
Currently we have a new store in progress that is an evolution of our current one located at YumBadges.com. Eventually everything will migrate over here with lots of new designs, fresh features, lower prices and more whizz bang! We are looking to craft a simpler experience and open our range up so that we can cater for everyone and anything badge related.

We also have some new larger badge making machines coming in soon which will allow larger badge sizes, and we have a pre-order in for some new equipment that will enable us to be one of the first places to make the largest badges in the world. The machinery hasn’t even been built yet but when it has we should be the first in the UK with our hands on the JUMBO-TRON-BADGE-O-MATICO, or at least that is what we are calling it for now…. once it is here it will be named Jimbo or something similar as per our other makers.

What’s coming up?
Now that we have the blog up, we want to give you a little more behind the scenes here at lovebadges HQ. This will include more photos of work in progress, discussion about what we are doing to the site code (for the geeks out there), and use this as a way to find out what you would like to see in our range of badges so we can continue to improve.

It has been an exciting history in the badge business so far and we hope to continue making everyones lives more exciting as we steam ahead!

Thought for your day: What are you looking forward to in your life at the moment?

Sunny
